Gabriel's favorite treat is a rice krispie treat, and Ruby's brown butter Festive Krispie is the best we have ever had. Ruby is a professionally trained pastry chef and Food Network Spring Baking Championship competitor. She now makes some of the most thoughtfully crafted treats in Lancaster County. The difference is in the brown butter: toasty, rich, and deeply flavorful, with a satisfying chew and a generous shower of festive sprinkles that make it as fun to look at as it is to eat.
We found Ruby at the Lititz Farmers Market in 2021 and have been carrying her Festive Krispies ever since.

Ruby Shenk is not your average small-batch baker. After a career as a restaurant pastry chef in New Orleans, she launched Salt & Light Pastry Co. in 2018. Her was mission to bring the flavor complexity and ingredient focus of fine dining pastry to everyday treats. She has been featured in Louisiana Cookin' Magazine, appeared on Food Network's Spring Baking Championship, and is now making some of the most thoughtfully crafted desserts in Lancaster County from her studio in Lancaster City. We met Ruby at the Lititz Farmers Market in 2021 and knew immediately she belonged in our gift boxes. Her brown butter rice krispie treats are the kind of thing that stops you mid-bite and makes you reconsider everything you thought you knew about a rice krispie treat.

As a family-owned business, we take pride in carefully preparing and shipping each order with attention to detail. Please allow 48 hours for processing. We use USPS Priority shipping, which typically takes 1-3 days to arrive. We ship Monday–Thursday.
