Lancaster Gift Box, The Common Wheel Community Center & Shop, and Decades join Forces to Raise Food, Funds, and Awareness for Local Nonprofits.

The Giving Trail 2023
The event includes a food drive benefiting CAP-Community Action Partnership!
Decades will be throwing a weekend-long Christmas in July celebration with special holiday cocktails benefiting Lancaster County Food Hub and a visit from Santa Claus.
The Giving Trail initiative will also help raise funds for Nine local nonprofits, including Power Packs Project, Lancaster Farmland Trust, Lancaster LGBTQ+ Coalition, The Wittel Farm Growing Project, Gifts that Give Hope, Water Street Mission, Music for Everyone, Pet Pantry of Lancaster County, Lancaster Food Hub, and CAP- Community Action Partnership.
On 7/28 and 7/29 giving stations will be set up at Lancaster Gift Box’s retail shop. Giving Trail participants can conveniently donate money to their chosen participating nonprofit(s) in person.
How the Giving Trail Works:
The Giving Trail starts at Lancaster Gift Box and ends at Decades. Participants will make a non-perishable food donation at each of the three host businesses, get their Giving Trail Passport stamped at each business along the way, and be entered to win an extraordinary Gift Box valued at $500.

Santa Claus will be at DECADES from 12pm - 4 pm on Saturday. No donation or purchase is needed to meet Santa.

Food Donations can be made anytime at the three giving trail stops! Passports will be available to be stamped 10am - 6pm Friday & Saturday at Lancaster Gift Box, The Common Wheel, and DECADES.
Nonprofits will be stationed at Lancaster Gift Box - 317 N. Queen St.
If you’d like to meet representatives from the participating nonprofits, plan your Giving Trail Experience based on the schedule below. They’ll be posted up at Lancaster Gift Box’s new retail shop accepting donations. Swing by and make a monetary donation in person, and embark on your Giving Trail experience.
** The Lancaster LGBTQ+ Coalition will be stationed at The Common Wheel Community Center & Shop from 12-6pm on Saturday 7/29 from 12pm - 5pm.
